2016 - 2017 Teams
We would like to thank all 70 players who came out this year. We did have some tough decisions to make and are still putting a few things together.

TEAM ROSTERS ARE POSTED HERE
* an email will be sent to all players who made the team in a day or two*

This year, we will be fielding 3 teams - one u-18 and two u-16's.
We decided to make both u-16's as even as possible to provide the best experience for all players. Both teams will be playing the same schedule and will face each other a handful of times. After the first practice or two, we may shift a couple players around and then officially set the rosters.

Schedules are still being worked on and pieced together. As things come together, they will be updated online.

Team Information

Team Columbus is a Pre/Post High School Hockey program.

The teams will compete in about 25 games from about August 15th through November 1, then disband for the High School season. The teams may reassemble in the spring to compete after the conclusion of your High School season.

If either team were to win the state tournament in October, that team will then advance to the USA Hockey Tier-II National Championships. The u-18 Nationals will be held in Lansing, MI and the u-16 Nationals will be held in Dallas, TX, both to be held 4/6 - 4/10.

Basic Facts:
- 25-30 games scheduled - probably 6-10 in Columbus (other games usually in Ohio, or adjoining states)
- 16 practices scheduled (mixture of once or twice per week)
- Teams will compete mainly against other PRE/POST teams from Ohio
- Level of play is Tier-II 'AA'
- Tryouts are spread out to accomodate family trips, vacations, work schedules, etc....
- Players are expected to make it to the tryouts. You must attend a minimum of 1 tryout to make the team.

All players are expected to be full-time members of the team and compete in both the PRE and the POST seasons (when applicable). If you compete in Fall or Spring activities (Football, Soccer, Baseball, Tennis, Lacrosse, Volleyball, Band, etc....),please take a look at your schedule before you commit. Last year's schedules are posted for you to use for planning purposes.
